Refund & Return Policy – Truefords Ltd
At Truefords Ltd, we are committed to providing premium-quality products designed to inspire confidence and elegance.
1. Legal Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
In accordance with UK and EU consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. To exercise this right, contact our customer service at contact@truefords.com for return instructions.
For a size exchange: (no colour change), limited to two sizes above or below the ordered size to prevent abuse.
* Size exchange is free: we cover the return label and re-shipment costs.
For a refund: you will be responsible for return shipping costs only. Once the item is received and inspected, the refund will be issued for the full amount paid, minus the cost of return shipping, within 14 days.
Items must be returned in original, unworn condition. If items show signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount for diminished value in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 34(9).
2. Extended Commercial Policy (15 to 30 days)
Beyond the legal 14-day period and up to 30 days after receiving your order, Truefords offers you the possibility to return or exchange your items as a commercial gesture under the following conditions:
For a size exchange: (no colour change), limited to two sizes above or below the ordered size.
For a refund: only for non-sale or non-promotional items. You will be responsible for return shipping costs as well as a handling fee of £5 per item. The refund will be issued for the amount paid, minus these fees. This commercial policy goes beyond our legal obligations.
Sale or promotional items (during this 15-30 day period) are only eligible for exchange or store credit, with no cash refund possible.
3. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
* The item must be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
* It must be returned in its original condition, with individual packaging, outer packaging, and tags intact.
* It must be accompanied by proof of purchase (confirmation email or invoice).
* Returns must be arranged after contacting our customer service at contact@truefords.com.
Hygiene exception: In accordance with consumer protection law, items that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons (such as underwear) are not eligible for return or exchange.
Return costs for certain destinations: By exception, for orders delivered to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and other remote UK territories, all return costs remain the exclusive responsibility of the customer.
4. Refunds
Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will send you an email confirming receipt of the item and approval or denial of the refund according to the return conditions.
The refund for received items will be processed to your original payment method after deduction of applicable fees as specified in sections 1 and 2 above.
Requests for colour changes (without product defect) are not eligible for exchange and follow the return procedure (fees apply).
Delayed or missing refunds:
* First check your bank account.
* Then contact your bank or card issuer.
* If you still have not received anything, contact our customer service at contact@truefords.com.
5. Damaged Products or Wrong Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at: 📧 contact@truefords.com
Attach clear photos showing the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
